Esileht > Soleron Energy offers smart energy management systems
Ideally, the system integrates a solar power plant, an electric vehicle charger, and a controllable storage solution that optimizes self-consumption of generated electricity and sells excess energy back to the grid at the best price. Additionally, the storage capacity acts as a buffer, temporarily storing surplus energy from the grid into batteries during uncontrolled production surges and compensating for production shortages when output is low.
The reliable and secure Soleron EMS software solution continuously monitors energy flows and prices, optimizes production, and automatically identifies the most profitable time to store, consume, or sell energy back to the grid. The implemented algorithm forecasts energy production and consumption for the next day and sends the inverter’s operational mode for the next 24 hours to the controller, which can adjust based on changes in input data.
The battery solution helps smooth electricity price peaks through arbitrage – for example, if electricity prices are high during the day and lower at night, the system charges batteries with cheaper nighttime energy and uses the stored energy during the day, avoiding expensive spot market electricity purchases. If solar panels are already installed, adding a storage solution should be considered to manage production and avoid selling energy to the grid at negative prices. This ensures maximum self-consumption and avoids additional grid fees and taxes associated with grid energy usage. A significant portion of solar parks is designed to sell generated electricity to the grid. However, with the increasing production capacity of solar power plants, periods of negative pricing in the grid have become more frequent, making such sales unprofitable. Instead, it is smarter to delay selling or support frequency stabilization in the grid – something that storage solutions enable.
Comprehensive Solutions Are a Priority
The implementation of an effective management solution requires high-quality equipment and reliable data exchange between the management solution and the devices. Investing in systems that cannot be adjusted to meet specific needs or lack guaranteed management quality is not practical. To provide comprehensive solutions, Soleron has established representation agreements with inverter and battery system manufacturers, ensuring full compatibility of their equipment with the Soleron EMS software. This integration of devices allows for efficient after-sales support and rapid resolution of potential issues.
Soleron’s primary focus is on providing energy management services.
