Electricity produced from renewable natural resources is predominantly generated by uncontrollable production units, which means that electricity is mainly produced only when the wind blows and when the sun shines. While it is possible to forecast the amount of electricity produced from solar and wind and the power supplied to the grid, production can be controlled by shutting down production units or, alternatively, by short-term storage of electricity
Our offered energy storage system (ESS) is a solution based on lithium-ion batteries and a hybrid inverter, which is combined with solar or wind energy systems and connected to the grid, allowing excess energy to be stored for later consumption and thus increasing self-consumption of the produced electricity.
Smart energy management is the key element in the operation of a storage system. Economically, it is practical to consume all the produced electricity on-site, which means that by using an energy management solution, it’s possible to increase self-consumption and level out price peaks.
